Molly Kerns-Clapp

MOLLY KERNS-CLAPP teaches middle and high school Vocal Music and is the Director and Music Director for the high school musical.Molly is a Portland native who has been involved in at least one choir (either as a participant or director) since she was 8. She grew up in North Portland, attended high school nearby at St. Mary's Academy, and pursued higher education at University of Portland. After studying music and education, she accepted a job at St. Pius X School and later taught music in Beaverton School District and at Gresham High School. After the pandemic, Molly decided to attend Portland State University where she received a Master of Music in Choral Conducting. Molly's been a big theater nerd her whole life, participating in theater in high school and college, as well as teaching the music for two musicals at Gresham High School.
