Isaac is the Founder and CEO of Scion Staffing, Inc., a nationally recognized human resources consulting and workforce solutions firm serving organizations across the United States. He is also the founder of Foundation List, the San Francisco Independent International Frozen Film Festival (501c3), and AccountMakers.com, an emerging startup employment technology platform focused on hiring sales, success, and support professionals.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Isaac is a long-standing supporter of creative education and community engagement. He and his wife, an OHSU nurse, are proud parents of Julian Schild, a junior at Northwest Academy.

With more than twenty years of experience advising nonprofit, public, and corporate organizations, Isaac is known for his expertise in entrepreneurship, marketing, business growth, HR strategy, and organizational development. He leads Scion’s national vision and has guided hundreds of complex consulting and workforce projects involving leadership executive search, board alignment, organizational development, shared services design, compliance, and workforce modernization. His approach integrates a people and mission first philosophy that empowers organizations to motivate and develop their teams from within while strengthening operations, improving governance, and fostering healthy workplace cultures grounded in socially conscious business practices.

Isaac earned his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Oregon. He also studied international law through George Mason University’s program at the University of the Netherlands Antilles and worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Government Reform Committee in Washington, D.C., contributing to federal investigative work during law school.

Earlier in his career, Isaac worked in television production as both a product manager and on-set contributor for Jim Henson projects including Bear in the Big Blue House and The Book of Pooh, as well as for Disney and MTV. He wrote music for MTV’s Unfiltered, coordinated production for a live show addressing youth violence after the Columbine shooting, and scouted emerging talent for New Music Records in New York. He also tutored gifted and challenged students in math and guitar, supporting young learners of varying abilities.

Throughout his career, Isaac has partnered with more than 900 organizations across the country including leading nonprofits, foundations, schools, public agencies, and corporations. His work has been featured by CBS News, highlighted in Seedco’s When Good Work Makes Good Sense on social purpose business models, and included in Harvard University case studies.

Prior to founding Scion, Isaac served as President of First Source Staffing, a social enterprise of the Fifth Avenue Committee in New York City that raised revenue to support community development programs.

Beyond his professional work, Isaac remains deeply committed to Portland’s arts and education community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Fear No Music, a nonprofit dedicated to developing young composers and creating public music and education programs for the community. Born into a family of fine artists, he also enjoys songwriting, painting, and making small-batch red wine in his personal time.
