This year, the 8th Grade Theatre class has crafted a condensed, 75-minute version of Shakespeare's classic comedy As You Like It.
First written in 1599, As You Like It joyously utilizes themes of love, community, and power to explore its central question: what is gender? Does gender change with the clothes we wear? Does it matter which gender a person loves? Who are we, beyond society's binary assignations?
