Donations Needed for Cold Weather & Hygiene Care Kits

Let's Make Some Care Kits!

As we start to feel the chill and the onset of winter, we'd like to turn to this amazing community to solicit support for the creation of cold-weather care kits that will be donated to our houseless neighbors! For the past few years, we've had great success gathering donations and building care kits for Portland's houseless community and we'd like to keep that tradition alive and support this vulnerable group.

If you are interested or able to donate, we'll be gathering everything from socks to toothbrushes to snacks to blankets. Check out the flyer below for a full list of needs or download the list here.

Kits and donated items will be delivered to our good friends at Outside InP:earBlanchet House and Rose Haven. If you're interested in helping any of those groups in more substantial ways, check out their wish lists and other ways to donate!
You can use this sign-up sheet to help us keep track of what to expect, however signing up is not necessary.
Donations can be dropped off starting the week of December 12 and students will be able to help assemble kits and organize items on Thursday and Friday, December 15 & 16 during study halls and lunches.
