Galetea Swart will portray Emily Dickenson in a one woman play The Belle of Amherst written by William Luce.  This demanding piece requires Galetea to be on stage, alone, with no prop but a single chair for nearly two hours. The play, directed by David Wagstaff, opens Friday, April 12th and runs through Sunday April 28th. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7 pm and Sunday’s show is at 2 pm. Reservations are recommended as there are only 25 seats available per show. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students. For reservations call 503 223-3367 X119.

    Our College Counselor works with students to find schools that will be a good match for them. Northwest Academy graduates attend a diverse selection of colleges and universities across the country including Duke University, Bard College, New York University, and Rhode Island School of Design.
