During the month of October the Angry Pigeon Gallery will be hosting the extraordinary work of Stuart Larsen. A Portland based artist, curator of The Angry Pigeon, and alumni of Northwest Academy, Larsen has produced a body of work intended to explore our perception of light and dimension. The series, entitled “Planarity,” was inspired by the idea of dimensional planes and incorporates found materials, black and white painting, sculpture, and a transition from 2-D to 3-D.
Receptions will be Thursday, October 2nd from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, October 3rd from 4-7 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Fridays, 4-7 p.m.
