Out There – Alumni Art Show Feb. 5-27

The alumni of the Northwest Academy will be showcasing their visual artwork at “Out There,” an exhibition hosted by the Angry Pigeon Gallery from February 5th to 27th.  The show will display a variety of media, including painting, illustration, photography and animation. The Angry Pigeon Gallery is located at 712 SW 11th Avenue, and will be holding receptions on Thursday, February 5th at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, February 6th at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The gallery will otherwise be available for viewing on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    Northwest Academy students write two substantial, college-level thesis projects in their senior year. All juniors and seniors receive college credit through the PSU Challenge Program.

    Northwest Academy’s community includes students from throughout the Portland Metropolitan area, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and Tigard as well as Vancouver Washington.
