Angry Pigeon Opening Show: Photography and artwork by 2012 graduating seniors. The Pigeon opening reception, held on First Thursday, featured included musical and theatrical performances by the seniors. The seniors were also required to provide custom dissertations. This was the first year that so much was required of them so late in the term.

Downtown Portland is our extended classroom
Students utilize the Central Library, Portland State University, and nearby museums and performing arts centers.

College Counseling
Our College Counselor works with students to find schools that will be a good match for them. Northwest Academy graduates attend a diverse selection of colleges and universities across the country including Duke University, Bard College, New York University, and Rhode Island School of Design.
