Thu-Tam Doan

THU-TAM DOAN earned her B.S. in Management Information Systems, and graduated with Cum Laude Honors with a M.S. in Education from Johns Hopkins University.  Prior to coming to Northwest Academy, she taught high school math and middle school STEM in Hawaii.  She also has professional experience in Telecom Engineering, Marketing, Event/ Project Management, Horticulture, and Eco-Interpretive Hiking and Adventure Tours (eco-tourism).  Outside the classroom, Thu-Tam enjoys scenic photography, backpacking through the developing world, scuba diving, horticulture/gardening and crafting culinary delights.  Thu-Tam has been with Northwest Academy since 2017.

    Northwest Academy students write two substantial, college-level thesis projects in their senior year. All juniors and seniors receive college credit through the PSU Challenge Program.
