Rebecca Koon

REBECCA KOON is a sexuality educator and counselor in training who has been working with adolescents and families since 2006. She has a BA in French from The Evergreen State College, an MA in Comparative Literature with a focus on Women and Gender Studies, and she’s currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling at Portland State University. Rebecca has taught thousands of students from Kindergarten through college, trained reproductive health care providers, teachers, and other youth-serving professionals, and has been a labor doula and childbirth educator. Her style is grounded in relationship, collaboration with youth, and unconditional positive regard and guided by equity, intersectionality, and a strong sense of personal integrity. Outside of work, you can find Rebecca hanging out with her kiddo, doing textile arts, reading novels, and wondering at the natural beauty of the northwest.
