College counseling at The Northwest Academy is an individualized process that encourages each student to examine their ambitions, abilities and interests to determine the best route to success. Students concentrate on finding a good match and develop an opinion about the kind of school that would fulfill their needs. The school endeavors to assist, encourage, challenge, and support students as they set goals and make decisions about college attendance. While we invite parent involvement, we also firmly believe that students should take ownership of the process.

45 visitation slots our college
counselor, Julia Cain, allows
for schools to gain access to
our graduates. More
schools than we can accommodate
request this access to our
students, and each year many
of our graduates are offered
merit scholarships from the
colleges into which they are
admitted.
