Understanding the FACTS Payment Plan

As an integral part of the school community, you are most likely asking who and what FACTS is and why The Northwest Academy is using this program.

FACTS is the tuition management service most widely used by private schools nationwide.
FACTS help families like yours meet their financial obligation in a simple, convenient way that is completely confidential and secure. Because it is not a loan program, you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. There is just one flat enrollment fee each year.

For The Northwest Academy, using FACTS provides a better way to manage the tuition collection process due to their automatic payment system. FACTS provide a variety of financial and management reports and help control our cost so that future tuition increases are kept at the lowest possible level.

FOR FAMILIES OF STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED
This year FACTS provide the tools for the re-enrollment process to be handled more efficiently and securely online. If you are currently enrolled in FACTS for the 2009-2010 academic year please click on the following email address (mdobson@nwacademy.org) using FACTS in the subject line. Please indicate in the email, (1) your student’s name and (2) that you wish to re-enroll in FACTS for the 2010-2011 academic year and (3) that the information on your current FACTS enrollment has not changed. If it has changed then please supply the new information either in writing or by email to the address indicated above. You will receive a letter from The Northwest Academy asking you to confirm the information currently listed or make changes as necessary. If you have any questions you may include them in your email, send a separate email or telephone our Finance Officer, Michael Dobson at 503-223-3367 x105. Return the letter in the enclosed envelope. Once The Northwest Academy receives your signed confirmation letter, you will be re-enrolled in FACTS for the 2010-2011 academic year. FACTS always send a confirmation letter to the Responsible Party once the agreement is completed. Please keep that letter in your files. FACTS will deduct the $38 fee from your account approximately 10 days after enrollment.

FOR FAMILIES OF NEWLY ENROLLED STUDENTS
For the 2010-2011 academic year, families of newly enrolled students will be able to enroll in FACTS online via the new ecashier program. You may click on the ECASHIER logo on our home page and it will take you to the FACTS page to begin the enrollment process online. Please email Michael Dobson with questions.
